Dogwood Exchange, 4950 Hwy 127 S Crossville, TN will be holding a Quilt of Valor Quilting Retreat beginning Sunday, June 22nd through Friday, June 27th, 2025.
Each participant will need to bring patriotic colors or patterned fabric to complete at least one (design of their choice) 60x80 top quilt. Retreat participants quilt tops will then be donated to a Quilt of Valor group of their choosing or Unity Quilts of Valor (Tennessee) to be completed. The QOV group receiving the donation will supply the batting and backing fabric for each of these quilts.
Participants will also have the privilege of witnessing a Quilt of Valor being awarded to a deserving Veteran during the retreat.
Participants are free to work on other projects after their initial quilt top has been completed or they can work on an additional QOV project.
Due to the volunteer nature of this retreat, the cost has been discounted to $225 per person for this 5 night retreat. A non refundable $100 deposit is due at the time of registration. The remaining balance of $125 is due upon arrival. Once registered, if you are unable to attend you may transfer your deposit to someone of your choosing but Dogwood Exchange must be made aware of the change.
Participants will arrive at 2 pm CST on Sunday, June 22nd and depart at 11 am CST on Friday, June 27th.
Food is not provided during this retreat. Participants are requested to provide a snack that can be enjoyed by the group.
This group is limited to 12 participants. Each participant will have their own twin bed in a dorm style setting.
